Dog-Friendly Hiking
Grab your pup and spend the day exploring this incredible landscape! All the hiking trails around Lake Louise are dog-friendly, but please keep your furry friend on a leash at all times, for their safety and the safety of local wildlife and fellow hikers.
Pet Sitting
We are delighted to offer pet-sitting services at Fairmont Chateau Lake Louise. Slip away for a swim in the pool or make a dinner reservation knowing your furry friend is well looked after. A minimum 24 hours’ notice is required to find a suitable sitter.
Additional Important Pet Information
- A charge of $85.00 per night plus taxes (to a maximum of $450 for six nights or more) applies to all pets and will be added to your guest room for deep-cleaning services.
- $15.00 per pet will be donated to the local Bow Valley SPCA, Canada’s only no kill, no cage adoption centre.
- Guests are liable for any damages and or repairs other than normal wear and tear that may occur. Any noise complaints that result in refunds to other guests will be charged to the guest room with the pet. In the event extra servicing to the room is required upon checkout, additional charges starting from $125.00 may apply.
- Pets are not permitted to be left in the room unsupervised. A $75 removal fee will be applied to your guest room should your pet be removed due to excessive noise.
- Due to health regulations pets are not allowed in the Food & Beverage areas of the hotel. This includes the outdoor patio, the waiting area outside of dining venues, and the Health Club pool deck.
- Please note that local bylaws require that dogs must be leashed throughout the Village of Lake Louise. Please be mindful of the resident wildlife (including bears, deer, and coyotes).
- Additional supplies, such as baggies, dog beds, etc., are available through Royal Service by dialing ‘0’.
