A perfect 5-day couple’s getaway in Lake Louise

Is this your first visit to Lake Louise? Let us show you the ropes. These are the things you don’t want to miss.

First-timer’s Guide to the Perfect Couple’s Vacation in Lake Louise:

Day 1:

Arrive and check-in to Fairmont Chateau Lake Louise. Take a light, easy stroll along the Lakeshore trail before you enjoy dinner at Fairview Bar & Restaurant.

Day 2:

Start your day off right with a morning flow yoga class followed by lunch on the patio. Fuel up because this afternoon you’re heading on a horseback trail ride to Lake Agnes Tea House with Brewster!

Day 3:

Fuel your body with breakfast at Louiza because today you’re off on a Mountain Adventure guided hike to beautiful Saddleback Pass. After all of that hard work, wind down with a well-deserved couples massage at the Fairmont Spa.

Day 4:

Wake up with the birds this morning for your serene Sunrise Canoe experience. Take breakfast to-go from the Guide’s Pantry and enjoy it al-fresco in the Adirondack chairs outside the Chateau. Hit the open road and head east to take the Banff Gondola up Sulphur Mountain (or hike up to get in some extra steps!). Spend the afternoon exploring the Banff town site, followed by dinner at The Vermillion Room at Fairmont Banff Springs.

Day 5:

Take the guest-only shuttle to Moraine Lake and walk up the famed Rockpile to get the most amazing views of our neighbouring glacier-fed lake.

Are you thinking, “been there, done that?” Don’t worry – we’ve got an itinerary filled with local favourites just for you.
