As part of the larger SnowDays (Jan 17-Feb 2, 2025) celebration, Ice Magic brings the breathtaking artistry of world-class carvers to Fairmont Chateau Lake Louise. Whether you’re a local, an in-house guest, or visiting for the day, you’ll be transported to a world of wonder. From January 29 to February 2, 2025, watch blocks of ice transform into intricate masterpieces under the theme “Moments of Bliss in Banff National Park,” all set against the stunning Lakeview Terrace backdrop.

For those who love a grand finale, February 1-2, 2025, is your time to shine. Completed sculptures will be illuminated to showcase their full glory, lighting up the frosted landscape in a breathtaking display. Enjoy live carving demonstrations and marvel at the incredible artistry as you wander the grounds of Fairmont Chateau Lake Louise.

All other access to the event is an exclusive affair, so it is important that you plan ahead! Entry to the event is by pre-booked complimentary tickets only; each ticket includes a designated arrival timeslot, a key to ensuring a seamless and enjoyable experience. Tickets are not yet available. 

However you decide to participate in the Ice Magic Festival, remember, if you are not staying at Fairmont Chateau Lake Louise, tickets must be pre-booked through participating hotels and unavailable the day of the event! Avoid disappointment by planning ahead and securing a timeslot to make the most of the winter wonderland in Lake Louise.

Parking Provisions

If you plan on arriving by car, please note that on-site parking is not available. Fear not; your pre-booked ticket grants you access to convenient shuttle services running from the Lake Louise Ski Resort parking lot.
