Thermal Wellness Facility
Fairmont Chateau Lake Louise is building on the resort’s year-round health and wellness experience with a new state-of-the-art, eco-friendly Thermal Wellness Facility. Once completed, the facility will be located on the site of the hotel’s previous outdoor pool, which was built in 1926 and closed in 1980. Our goal is to set a worldwide standard for guest experience as well as ensure low-impact design and construction.
Tactile Moments
Against layered natural textures, details throughout the spa are designed to surprise, calm, and invigorate. Each step in this discovery is one to linger upon. Begin now…
Sacred Entrance
An atmospheric passageway featuring stones and water welcomes guests to the sanctuary.
Steam Ritual
Steam is laced with healing aromas and heated stones are pressed against aching muscles.
Submerge
A sequence of vitality pools offer various whole-body sensations. A waterfall cascades from great heights to unknot shoulders. A plunge resets the body’s system. An outdoor pool is an inspiring stop to absorb the astounding view.
Heat & Purify
Contemporary saunas lined in sustainable wood expose the benefits of thermotherapy — improved circulation, state of mind, and immune function.
Finishing Glow
Hydrotherapy renews the skin. A dedicated room invites guests to exfoliate and rinse, uncovering a revived radiance.
Nourishment
Exquisite food and drink offerings are served in a lounge or on an outdoor terrace. Locally sourced ingredients are used in dishes that complement a soul awakening.
In keeping with our continued efforts to build upon the resort’s year-round health and wellness experience, Fairmont Chateau Lake Louise will be undergoing renovations on the property grounds. A brand new state-of-the-art, eco-friendly, Thermal Wellness Facility is being constructed with an anticipated opening date of summer 2025.
Construction noise will peak between 8:00 a.m. – 6:00 p.m. daily.
During these hours, the construction noise may be loud at times. Resort facilities and activities will not be impacted during this time.
We held a virtual public information session to discuss the proposed facility on March 10, 2022. The session included a question and answer period. If you were unable to attend that session, you can watch a recording here.
